For everyone ( webmasters ) who control any homepage('s) it could be sometimes handy to edit the content quickly and easy.
Now you can setup a CMS system to do this job but not everybody has the skills or the time to use such an tool.
For my own customers I found and developed a really simple solution to edit any content of an excisting website and very easy to set up.

How does this work ?
- First all htm or html files get the extension .php
- In a simple configuration file de database settings will be filled in ( and things like username and password ect.)
- Now open the installer in your favorite browser and the database will be filled with example data content
- Open one of your excisting pages and add some simple php functions
On top of the page
<? include("./cms/inc/cms.php"); ?>
In the <head></head> tags the following script for the Ctrl-Z function
<? include("./cms/event.php"); ?>
Then on the place where you or your client can edit the text
<? EditHere(1) ?>
(1) is the ID of the page which you can find in the admin, so a next page will be <? EditHere(2) ?>
In the admin you can make, edit, rename pages and backup and restore the database
For filling the database you have to log into your homepage and click on the admin icon where you will see all the pages and can edit in a WYSIWYG environment. Also you can make more pages if you like and add them to your excisting web pages the way was described above.
The user can login into their homepage by using the keyboard combination Ctrl-Z. They fill in their username and pass and will be redirect to the first page where the edit, logout and admin icon will appear.
When the user clicks on the edit icon a page will open with a WYSIWYG surrounding and the user can edit the page.
This simple solution is now available for everyone !!
